Will Endres is an herbalist, wildcrafter, and outdoor guide from West Virginia with over 4 decades of experience.
He studied for 28 years with herb doctor and healer CF "Catfish" Gray. He has had many herbal elders and has been deeply influenced by the traditional Cherokee approach to plants and medicine.
Living and working in the woods has given him a uniquely intimate knowledge of the natural world. He offers year round walks, talks, classes and apprenticeships.
He is the sole proprietor of "Will's Wild Herbs" and has has been in business for over 40 years. He has been a mentor to over 450 apprentices, and countless community members. Spreading knowledge about the bounty of wild plants in the Piedmont is one of his greatest passions. He and his staff locally produce and sell their products through their website and the downtown Farmers Markets in Durham, and Carrboro.
